Views on adverts, marketing and much more from the digital world
So after what seems like a very eventful few months I have come out of the winter storm – and not to better off it would seem.
Late last year I became an AE with Bray Leino to work on the new Aviva account. That time is now coming to an end – there isnt much more i can say on that at the moment.
I have gained some great skills, being an active member of a busy account team, managing client contacts, projects and well many other things that are to be listed on my CV rather then here.
I have a job, I am now the part time reception/ office junior at Bray Leino. I am very pleased to be joining the London team and can’t wait for the new challenges in store for me.
Thank you to Mary and Lucy ( I won’t put their last names – trying not to embarrass to many people) for hiring me.
Hopefully this will develop into something more full time and future career development.
So I didn’t get threw on the Creative Pioneer challenge, Good Luck to everyone who got a placement! But hopefully something else has just come up which will be just as good for me. So watch this space and i’ll update again soon.
My Creative Pioneer application is sent, my next three are lined up for completion. Welcome to the world of a recently finished student.
Recently I have had the opportunity to speak to a very wise person in the advertising world, a member of the IPA and high up on an advertising agency. I dont want to name names but he has been a great help to me so far and has always left me an open door to contact him again. If he ever reads this, I hope he realises that he has been such a big help to someone who was very lost in this advertising world at one time.
The IPA Ads school is also looking for applications and the most helpful twitter feed I have found has also been from the IPA (@IPA_Jobs) so get over and have a look if your in the same position as me.
